Hi! I’m Kyle Botha, a professional musician and guitar teacher based in Waterkloof. I’ve been performing and teaching since 2017, combining practical experience with formal musical training to help students grow in confidence, skill and creativity.

My live music experience ranges from playing intimate venues with punk and metal bands to sharing some of the biggest stages with artists such as Zaan Sonnekus, Francois van Coke and Neon Dreams.

I hold an Advanced Diploma in Jazz Studies from Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), specialising in guitar, as well as a Further Education and Training Certificate in Music Industry: Sound Technology at NQF Level 4. My background also includes music production, giving me a broad understanding of both performing and creating music.

With training and experience across multiple genres, I tailor my lessons to each student’s musical interests and goals. Whether you’re exploring your first chords or refining your playing, I combine an in-depth understanding of technique and theory with practical guidance to help you develop your own sound and enjoy making music.
