I started playing guitar after high school, and quickly fell in love
with the instrument.
After school, I studied to become a school teacher. Thereafter, I
worked as a teacher at Laerskool Kalie de Haas in Standerton,
teaching both academic, and music subjects.

After a few years, I decided that music is my main passion, so I
packed up my things and headed to the city.
I started playing live shows, both in the secular industry, as well as
in church.
Soon after that, I started offering guitar lessons, as I have a passion
for both music, and teaching.

I give lessons on acoustic and electric guitar. I am currently the lead
guitar player for Afrikaans chart topping artist Robbie Wessels,
playing shows all over the country.
I have also worked with artists like Chris Steyn, Dodo Nyoka, Niel
Somers, Franja du Plessis and Leah.

I love seeing how students progress and learn new skills on the
guitar, as well as observing the enjoyment that guitar can bring.
